I've a hundred pounds of this or so, Galena - Silver Ore, with Pyrites, Sulfites, freshly broken it displays the cleavage, cubic crystal structure on black mirrored faces, over time they quickly oxidize and turn orange or rust brown. But a pretty rock, and you can usually guess it by it's weight.

I didn't get a picture, sorry, but earlier in the day had spotted a red smear upon the road, roadkill, that went from the right side to the left, something had dragged it over the embankment down towards the lake.
And that evening, in the headlights, beside the road, a cougar and 2 cubs, the first one I've ever seen, and the next morning and evening I see glimpses of it again. It kind of makes you a bit nervous about spreading out your blanket and sleeping, this is a little bit close to where I've been spending the night, never one to set up a tent I just might have to start...
